Nope, didn’t even know what I was getting into. I knew the basics of the company, but when I first applied I didn’t know much I was fresh out of university.
So I love what the company does. I’m always happy to adjust my skills to move around the company, but what the company does is very interesting, hence I love my job as the topic is of very high interest to me. الحمد لله
I love my job because of how much I get to see. However, I am looking for something in web3 now lol. Internally, sadly it’s not as easy as just saying that to move around… ان شاء الله I can move into something else soon.
So it’s not that I want to move departments or fields because of me disliking my job, it’s just I’m much more passionate about web3 and Bitcoin.
I can tell you now though, it doesn’t seem like the world cares what you’re interested in. People are just after if someone is able to do a process and work rather than be passionate and learn. It makes me think actually, maybe the only option is starting your own thing if passion is what is the driver..
