Fruit update 🍍😁

A quick Internet search informed me that the reason pineapples sold in UK supermarkets are so rubbish is due to the pineapples being picked too early/unripe so they'll survive the journey from the country they are grown. Once a pineapple has been picked it may soften or change colour but it doesn't ripen or become sweeter.

In an ideal world, you wouldn't be buying or consuming tinned fruit but the pineapple found in tins has been left to ripen before being picked, the packaging states no added sugars and 100% pineapple juice.

Just not worth buying pineapples in the UK, not from supermarkets anyway, might as well buy the tinned stuff.
