Only 6 years ago but feels like a different lifetime.

I spent my 1st year in the elevator trade commuting by motorcycle to the San Francisco airport. It was 78 miles each way and every morning was a race to see if I could beat my best time. 56 minutes was the best I ever did.

Of all the different types of riding I’ve done there is nothing quite like splitting lanes through gnarly traffic in the dark. I miss the rush but I’m mostly just thankful I had that period of my life. Motorcycles are still a big part of my life today but I’m not as reckless. Being a husband and father is worth dialing it back a bit.

Nice. I have a BMW GS Adventure 1200. Don't lane filter that fast, but it's still a great feeling riding to the front of the lights.

Man, I haven’t ridden like that in years. I still split lanes but not like this. Those are awesome bikes. One of these days I’ll get a proper adventure bike
