Imagine spending $138 on deli meat

I haven't bought a steak from the grocery store in years

This shit is not sustainable

But how does it end?

I don't know about USA but here when someone says deli meat what they mean is cold cuts ready to eat.

Some of those Italian and French cold cuts can be this expensive in Australian dollars(which are worth less than USA dollars)

But I've never seen streak that expensive even at restaurants you can probably get a cooked rib-eye wrapped in gold leaf for less than that

With more people choosing to raise and harvest beeves and buying local. The beef industry is more centralized than fiat currency with only 4 companies controlling the vast majority of beef that consumers have access to.

End the gov subsidies on grain production and we'll open up vast amounts of land for beef production.

Live cattle prices are still increasing. Beef prices to the consumer have not peaked yet.
