WTF, seriously? $138 USD for less than 5 pounds of steak. At Costco. With inflation this under control, let’s cut some rates!

Imagine spending $138 on deli meat

I haven't bought a steak from the grocery store in years

This shit is not sustainable

But how does it end?

$27.89/lb is robbery!

I've never seen streak that expensive before and my local currency has less buying power than USA dollars.

We export our lowest quality meat to USA and our highest quality meat to Japan and Europe.

The American importers actually prefer bulls and older cows not just because they're cheaper but because the meat is able to soak up more water.

😢

Yeah it’s brutal I remember buying grassfed ribeyes from a farmer for $15.99 in 2020

I think back the Costs ribeyes were maybe $11.99 or something like that

They’re 30 bucks no for a lb, it’s insane

$27.89/lb for prime beef ain’t bad. It’s well over $30/lb where I live.
