If this poll gets enough response, devs may implement non-zap polls.
Only joking, devs only care about nosinfluencers' opinions lol
I prefer zap polls. You can set your poll to just receive one sat per vote. This way you you really have to be in to the poll and not just vote because you think its funny to vote on way or the other.
You can set proof of work difficulty a little high, so you no the voters are "in it"
What about polls where we get zaps for participating?

I refreshed to see if the results updated and it seemingly let me vote twice. Does that show in the results (assuming you see a full list of votes)?

i believe you can filter voters by people you follow and lists or something... apparently.
i don't really mind, it's just a bit of a larf innit
So your Id gets stored locally, just clicking on submit should not add another vote as is, but you can easily spam by doing so in incognito.
For non spammy polls the poll creator should set a proof of work difficulty, or the poll viewer should filter the results only from the "people they follow" or any lists they might have added.

Let's say you had categories of topics for polls, trending polls, similar polls... Etc you could have polls play a significant role in potentially making interesting/fun threads and discussions. A #DVM or #primal sidebar for trending polls? 🤔what do you reckon? #asknostr
