For nostriches using the #zbd app regarding DMs: this is what’s going on with me on iOS (YMMV and ZBD is improving all the time)

- I can receive DMs from new people but they don’t show up in my Messages or Requests. I look at my DMs in Damus to see who contacted me.

- in ZBD, I go to the person’s profile, hit Direct Message. In that dedicated chat screen, I see what they sent and reply.

- any DMs or replies I send show up in ZBD DMs

This isn’t a ZBD bash at all, just FYI 💜🫡🫂

Revamping dms is in our pipeline. They’re going to be much better very soon 💜 thank you for the thoughtful feedback

I sent a bug report with screengrabs but that was before I figured out how to see the DMs via the Direct Message button on someone’s profile. Wanted folks to know the DMs are there, just may have to take the scenic route to see them. 👍💜
