It's hard to know who puts out the bad vibes. Also I'm guilty of my own bad vibes.

Just yesterday for example, someone asked "Why do you hike up the mountain every day"

My answer" because I don't have anything else to do".

Then I could see on their face the immediate reaction to my complaint.

Instead of me focusing on how much I enjoy the view from the mountain, all I could focus on was the fact I don't have kids and too much time on my hands and no personal projects to work on because I'm a renter and a traveler.

So today I'm making a list of everything I need to feel empowered again:

I need a grill to just cook basic things at home.

I like to look over at the ocean 40 miles away and think about parking a catamaran sail boat on the beach. But then if I don't have any follow thru, I get frustrated.

So I need to figure out how to ship things like small boats to El Salvador.

I'm struggling with the fact I'm not a visionary. I just live in other people's houses that they have built.

My landlady here is extending her Hostal, and all I can think of is how bad of an investment building is.

And I actually really like what she built. It's like a swiss family Robinson style where the kitchen is on one level hanging inhe trees of the side of the hill, and cabin is hanging on another level.

i think

a) you need to get a boat and live in a cheap marina in a not to busy coastal town and,

b) sounds like you would like to do some building

visionary isn't something you aspire to, it's when you are motivated to do something that hasn't been done, and that's a hellish road, i can assure you

usually before everyone realises you broke new ground you get treated like an idiot
