I learned the reason rats eat some engine wires is because the wire coating is made from soy and peanut byproducts.

And according to John, one of said old dudes, "whatcha gotta do, is go down to the dollar store, and get you a big can of that Aquanet hairspray. then spray the shit out those wires, and they wont touch em. they also hate dryer sheets, and irish spring soap."

i dont know.

i suspect what the rats dont like is the chemicals. which is also probably why i dont want it on me.
