There’s a story in my country during 1995 financial crisis, salarymen got unemployed so they sell soy milk/ street food to survive.
(Mcdonald store were not abundant like current era so finding job is harder than making street food)
But nowadays it seems like unemployed people in the cities are more eyed towards degen stuff (trading/poker) for living rather than grinding in McDonald (even if their stores are much more abundant and jobs are easier to find than previous era 😅)
Not sure if this related to the fiat rent seeking mindset stem from rent seeking financial systems
