Back in August of 2019 when I still had a wood lathe I made a few of my own yo-yos which I named “Cambium”. I gave it high inner walls so that when I let go of the loop and flipped it around the loop tended to lock itself into place, making it easier to catch again. I’ve long since got rid of the lathe (developed a phobia of losing a finger) but I ended up making a cad model of the Cambium which I uploaded to thingiverse so others could try out the design as well if they had access to a 3d printer. Here’s a few tricks on the original design

How many hours a day you practice?

It really depends. These days 1 or less. Back when I was a teen I could practice for 3-5 a day. It became a piece of my identity back then and also there was so much to learn and try and I was competing as well so I had more motivation to stand there forever and learn a new technique. Now that I have kids and we’re homeschooling it can be difficult to get in time to yo-yo or feel any motivation to practice once I do have some free time.

I've watched your videos, and I was really curious, because it's a lot of work there. Thanks 👍

Thank you as well! 😊🤜🤛
