Size of the fight of the dog. I’ve seen a 2 lb teacup Yorkie scare the shit out of a 75lb boxer.

Dogs do not see your point, big brain. From that point of view. The boxer didn’t see weakness. He saw strength that scared him. Regardless of the illusion, still a victory. We are getting into the art of war. Still a win over nature.
Lots of people incorrectly see anger, aggression, & malicious behavior (usually driven by a need to compensate for feelings of inferiority) as strength, but many others (those of us who are smarter than dogs) know how weak people like that generally are.
I’m talking about fear, which is very real. Fear in the face of danger is actually wisdom. All those emotions listed, can be dangerous. It can also be used as a weapon against strength and weakness.
