A celestial body that was tidally locked and had environmental constants (light / dark / hot / cold / etc) would be such an interesting situation.

Granted the place in question could support life, I’d imagine that forms would become hyper-specialized to their unchanging environment. No daily or seasonal shifts like night or winter (or day or summer) to waste adaptive capacity on.
