Nostr isn't one thing, different apps will take different routes. You guys should embrace the nostr free market and choose what's right for you in the end.
The same exact thing happened over on the Fediverse (ActivityPub protocol). Everyone was all "free speech!" but in the end the main admins colluded to block instances and people they didn't like.
The same is happening on Nostr.
What you will be left with is a circlejerk hugbox (which is really no different from what you have right now, so I guess if you're happy with that then great, whatever)
If that happens then nostr wasn't a good enough solution either. I'm mostly concerned about relay based filtering.
Twitter refugees keep wanting to take Nostr and turn it into Twitter and it sucks. It's fine how it is. Functions like every other alternative. Just works
