What?... If it's open source it should be accessible to everyone, so that they can find and close any back doors.
If the cryptography is good there shouldn't be any information to give anyone. Kind of like a VPN that doesn't keep logs.

Better yet, think of it as a seed phrase with a high entropy BIP39 passphrase. Locked in a hardened keepass vault. With 2FA. One of which is a keyfile thar can be destroyed and recreated at will..🤧🧡😊
