why does this keep on happening
a user i follow with a random username and no pfp, while they actually have both
is it a relay thing on my end or something on damus's end?

and it's been happening for months for me
Does it ever change to his name, or does it remain like your screenshot?
I’ve noticed this a few times. However when you tag him, I see @ben for me
It happens all the time. Not just to specific people.

That happens for me too, with one follow. I have adjusted relays and other settings in Damus to see if it updates. All other apps on web and mobile show the name and PFP. I haven’t figured out what the issue is.
Saw this happening intermittently. When I restarted the app, it was back to normal (I could see pfp and username again)
