Yeah I think it’s the same for stock Android phones, only solution would be to flash a custom OS then audit the code to see what it leaks, maybe GrapheneOS?

They have back doors in the software to pry open with proprietary software if needed by law enforcement so I don’t know if there is a real solution

Of course using hardred software will make it more difficult for them, but I’m not sure if it really creates data security, I’m quite sure that if they want to get in ,they will, it just depends if it’s worth the effort or not, I would assume its compromised by default
