If you try to install Umbrel for yourself, you will be even more enlightened. Old windows laptop + ubuntu + umbrel. You are overly critic to yourself if you think that this is only for nerds. Apple is only for parent dependent children (no matter the physical age) that cannot survive in an uncontrolled environment.
