Nope. Because their millennial parents and boomer grandparents ruined the schools and they’ve been so loaded up on revisionist history that most of them have no idea what their real problems are.

We all have grown up beneath layer after layer of institutions that were at first consumed by but ultimately became producers of propaganda. I remember thinking in elementary school that the paper we use for money is silly. Someone prints it. What's to stop them from printing it for themselves and their friends to buy up the world?
French economists called this the exorbitant privilege.

The explanation they gave in high school was that the money needed to be elastic to prevent future depressions. Then I saw the film Zeitgeist.

As flawed as the movie is, it makes much more sense than anything I had learned in school. Now I believe that we are ruled by a super elite that gives us two child abusers to pick from and calls it the will of the people.
End the fed. End their foothold in our country.
I mean to say that I don't blame the people before me who didn't know any better. Yes they contributed to the problem but so have we all at one point or another in our ignorance. The people to blame are those individuals who coordinate in intentionally misleading all of us so that they can enjoy their perceived superiority and political dominance over us all. We can't beat these bastards without help from the people who have unconsciously harmed us in the past.
You are right that not everyone is as guilty.
That being said, the silent generation can be totally blamed for being more willing to fight tyranny in Europe than at home. The boomers… they WERE the communists and still overwhelmingly own every arm of power. Obviously, NOT ALL boomers the same that it is not all blacks or all Jews… but I can still say “boomers ruined the world” while being able to maintain the cognitive nuance to understand that the boomer in front of me might be one of the few that didn’t do those things.
As for “we need them”. Actually, we don’t. They are on their way out the door anyway. In 10-20 years, there won’t be enough of them left to be statistically significant to what is about to happen. That’s not wishing harm or anything either… that’s just acknowledging the reality of human mortality. And not including that, if it comes to war, they have already aged out of the war fighting demographic even if a war broke out NOW.
