In a world bubbling with incredible technological progress l am confused by the lack of decent can openers.

we had one of those electric can openers for a while and I thought that was it, we solved the decent can opener problem for life.
it has since died and I've been back to hand operated since 😢
Our go to for about 15 years was a Tupperware one. Simple rest on lid hand cranked. It died about 3 years ago. Now we are replacing once a year. Only option I can find are the ones that hang over the side. I have seen them as much as $50. 😬
