On-contour garden beds are looking so good. Top picture is from the other side, but this is just 2 months of growth. Gonna have a ton of cowpeas, okra & pumpkins from here. Only weeded when germinating the seeds #permaculture #garden #grownostr #organic

So the plot was tilled then raked on contour then covered with at least 12inches of old hay. Holes were dug in the hay down to the soil and filled with compost. We sowed the seeds in the compost. The hay somewhat hinders the weeds and keeps the moisture in
