Slick screen.👏✅

What compute cost? I tried Shakespeare and it burns funds like a bureaucrat.

Also, unrelated, do we have an NSEC to seed phrase converter service yet?

Sorry, been gone a while. Catching up.

Nsecs cannot be converted to seed phrases

Dang, howcome?

We have vaults/signers with passwords. Surely we could use a seed instead instead of a password?

Good to hear from you btw. 🙏

Thanks! This was built using Claude Code Pro Sonnet 4.5. I have an annual subscription, so there are no metered costs. The sessions have usage limits but I don’t really mind because it forces me to come up for air, and it’s not like I have 10 hours a day to vibecode anyway.

There’s no way I’m aware of to convert an nsec to a seed phrase, but one unique aspect of my wallet is that it stores an encrypted backup of its private key on your relays so as long as you can access your nsec your wallet is recoverable, even if you lose the seed phrase or local encrypted backup file, which I also provide.

How does this work? Can it be used with an existing nsec or do you have to start fresh?

Not sure. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Likely a fresh start. If I create a new nsec in Amber I get a pass phrase. If it is an external created nsec I don't get the option.

There’s a login option where you can enter your nsec.

I don’t enter my nsec into websites.

You can use an extension also.

But it doesn’t do the one thing we were discussing, which is to generate a seed phrase from an existing nsec.

Ah, hadn’t read the whole thread properly. Generally you create an nsec from a seed phrase and not the other way round.

Beauty. I need to try Claude, everyone talks about it as the gold standard.

Glad others are thinking on Seed based NSEC. This is helpful function IMO since a seed can be remembered mentally, not so much an NSEC.

Plus, NSEC/NPUB is confusing for noobs I think. The more we simplify, the easier we onboard.

Depends on how you pay for your AI... I've found Claude Haiku 4.5 to be comparable to Sonnet and SO MUCH CHEAPER. highly recommend.

Also, depends on what you're trying to do and how many "credits" it takes if you're going that route, or if you're using an AI provider subscription like nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7ct8vaezumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqg4waehxw309a5xjum59ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqzpmnw5yatnljuff5w47d35d87q99xddqpzlzsac4xzn6vm22ekmn554fy54 mentioned.

We are also adding apps to the Soapbox showcase so you can 'edit with Shakespeare' if you see one you like, which will drastically cut down on prompting costs. Can be a big shortcut!

Ya I'm just curious on Claude runtime cost.

Like I can run 2-4hr hard on Vercel for $10. Good quality now except for a few hangups.

That Shakespeare app is dog shit. Ate $5 before it's first output. Maybe because I selected middle tier (Claude?).

Just trying to learn the market.

I would clarify based on your note that *Shakespeare* isn't dogshit in your opinion, but that *Claude* is.

And Claude is known for being the Mercedes Benz of the market, if you're trying to learn the market.

This is why Shakespeare allows users to switch AI providers. You can choose the right one based on needs/budget. If you want to keep using Claude but at a lower price, I would switch to the new, cheaper model, Haiku 4.5.

That's very possible that Claude is the expensive part. That's what I'm trying to decipher. Will do another test.

Appreciate that.

Yeah. That’s why nostr:npub1q3sle0kvfsehgsuexttt3ugjd8xdklxfwwkh559wxckmzddywnws6cd26p is a stickler for giving folks freedom of choice.
