Can't just activate OEM unlocking and reboot to root with graphene fresh?

I don’t think you can do that without being in the device?

Have to activate developer mode in settings first. You've probably read about this by now?

Yeah, but I can’t get to that.

It still has the old google account on which I cannot access as I do not know the credentials.

Bummer, sounds like a brick. Get another pixel? If buying used, just be sure to check that OEM unlocking isn't grayed out before buying. If it is, may be unlockable after connecting to WiFi, or not at all.

The guy I got it from says he has a guy that should be able to remove the google account, so just waiting to hear back from him

I got the device for free so not too fused if it’s a bricked one
