Incidentally.... this was the only asian food i experienced growing up.

When I moved out I slowly discovered general chinese restaurants, indian food, sushi, korean bbq and kimchi etc.

My family didnt eat out much because it was so expensive. Excluding school lunch, we went to a restaurant about once or twice a year. Usually McDonalds, Pizza Hut or a hand tossed pizza place.

These days its common for people to eat out every day, or at least the majority of days. I do a lot of cooking, and while im no top chef or baler, Im confident in my abilities.

My fam Would order Chinese once a year and it was fantastic. otherwise my dad watered down soy and rice vinegar and tossed it on noodles.

Do you have a cuisine that you feel comfortable in or are curious in trying and haven't?
