Had Christmas with the siblings today. The legacy social media has them feeling very nasty and negative, not sure what the algorithm is pushing but it ain't great. I do the family gatherings for my mom but it just gets me down ☹️. At home now and will enjoy a glass of wine and a cigar and put it behind me.

I felt similar after thanksgiving with my broader fam. So much negativity. It was rough. My take away is it Helps me know better avoid going down that path myself.
🫂🫂 Yes!! I always try to see some positivity in things, I'm glad the gatherings have dwindled to a few times a year.
These people pissed and moaned about the gifts they got in the gift exchange. And that's why we don't participate in the gift exchange anymore.
Just a bunch of unhealthy, miserable people all gathered in one place. Pathetic. Lots of lessons to talk through with our kid, though. Gotta keep him off that path.
