Maybe the current fee situation will force large exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase to implement Lightning for withdrawals? This is good for Lightning adoption. All of our previously opened channels are all now more valuable.

Well yes temporarily, until miners turn on more ASICS to jack up the difficulties so high it will soak up the extra fees.
