Are there a significant number of bots on Nostr to begin with? I haven't seen many. Only one I think and I know who created it

Yes. Devs are in early days of the botspam wars. #[4] solves by limiting to follows of follows. In Amethyst and #[5] you can set your global feed to paid relay only, which eliminates the current wave of botspam.
I’m guessing Rooke’s chart counts npubs, where if you have a computer and internet connection this is a 0 cost event.
