Or another way to #asknostr is by asking what risk profiles justify using the Librem over an android phone running Graphene?

I prefer something like iodéOS over pixels with graphene and a Librem5 to not rely on AOSP, that is becoming AP lately.

Thanks, I'll take a look at iodeOS. I played around with LineageOS a number of years ago. At the time I found the Calyx community more pleasant to work with than the Lineage community, which is one reason I headed in the Calyx direction.

Librem 5 USA was replaced by the #LibertyPhone; I don't think you can buy it new any more.

Also, the #Purism #Librem brand appears to be built around freedom, privacy and security, hence PureOS is one of the few that got #FSF endorsement.

Security and privacy are good to emphasise but I think they shouldn't be our only focus. What about freedom, decentralisation, diy reparability, modularity, environmental friendliness, open hardware, etc.?

#Librem5 and Liberty Phone will still be receiving updates long after Pixels and other devices are in the landfill.

The screen repair of a broken Pixel 6 Pro cost me almost the same as a brand new 6A! The L5 user-replaceable screen meanwhile costs < $100 or 1/8th of the price of a new device!

There is actually no NSA proof security on any mobile fone, no matter what OS you run.
