Talking about snakes 🐍 now I just found out that there are ‘flying snakes’ 😱!!

Just like as they are on land they slither in the water, I honestly haven’t heard of anyone being bitten by a sea snake in the water here only out of the water when trying to handle them.
Sharks are another issue, but if I go in I will only swim between the flags ever. 😁

OMG beaches are covered in tiny blue crabs a lot of the time. They scurry away like a blue tied when you approach and dive down little holes. So cute. Then there are the washed-up bluebottles. And of course crocodiles.
The crocs are further north and unfortunately on some of the most pristine beaches 😳
Not as dangerous as Aussie drivers. Seriously.
In QLD for some reason the blinkers don’t work on vehicles 😂
What really mystifies me is why people in Australia walk Soooo Slowly when they cross the road. I've been all over the world and Australia is the undisputed world leader in the international sport of Slow Road Crossing.
