There are many new users who start out with an empty feed and need to understand that they have to follow people to build their feed to make nostr work for them.

That’s right. You have to invest a bit more time to build up the feed yourself and some suggestions like yours are really helpful. Once you realise, that you have more control and security it will be more fun here. Hope, #artstr can help to find some interesting content and ppl to follow.
