🚨NEW STUDY: Sunlight Penetrates the Human Body, Improving Mitochondrial Function and Vision☀️

Just 15 minutes of fully clothed infrared sunlight exposure triggered systemic effects and measurable improvements in vision — even with eyes completely covered.

Key Findings 👇

🔸+16% improvement in blue-yellow (tritan) contrast sensitivity

🔸+9% improvement in red-green (protan) contrast sensitivity

🔸+7% improvement even with head wrapped in foil — proving non-ocular, systemic effect

🔸Six layers of clothing blocked visible light but were nearly transparent to 850 nm infrared

⚠️Modern LEDs emit harmful blue light (400–450 nm) but lack healing NIR wavelengths

These findings underscore the critical role of full-spectrum sunlight in maintaining cellular health and sensory function.

As modern environments increasingly rely on artificial lighting that omits these beneficial wavelengths, we are depriving our bodies of essential biological signals.

GO PLAY IN THE SUN!

Even with all your clothes on, it will improve your health.

Jack Kruse has been saying this for awhile and people think he’s crazy. The overton window is beginning to shift 🫡

We have to approach science with deep humility. Thinking that sunlight - to which we've been exposed since the beginning of time - can be reduced to skin cancer risk and vitamin d is pure hubris.

The study that Dr Berry quotes is just one example of how asking a question in new ways elicits new insights.

There's so much that we do not yet understand.

Just did this morning 🤙🏽

Thoughts on cancer risk vs other benefits from sun exposure?

I guess the question is if cancers need direct sunlight on skin and if you can get the beneficial IR without that? What for the OP think of sunscreen?

Sunscreen causes cancer. If the sun was bad for your skin we wouldn’t be attracted to tan skin.

What about just mineral sunscreen?

Sure. If you need to take the edge off. Natural ingredients won’t harm you. The big brand sunscreen are the toxic ones

Agreed

Sunscreen causes cancer, not the Sun.

Sunning my balls almost every day! 🤠

I mean no shit melanin literally makes energy from the sun.

Fact: Sunlight good for hair grow.
