We've been above freezing for awhile, but these icicle columns are stubborn. today is headed to near 70. Perhaps we will finally see the rest of the meltening.

As the LFTN spring workshop has shaped up, I've been getting increasingly excited about it. Alan Booker, Jack Spirko, Emily Zanotti...

Menu is next. As much locally sourced as possible. Biggest local challenge is anything bread or tortilla related.

I bought the most horrible burger buns last year made by a local baker. Dense, too tall, dry, awful buns. It was so bad that home-crafted burgers are NOT on the menu this year. :)

Hope it all goes well. I made some really good corn tortillas with organic masa harina recently, pretty easy to make. But maybe not for a huge crowd.
