I'm highly supportive of the "onchain address" idea btw: blockspace today is very cheap.

Absolutely no idea. No indication if the channel was closed. No idea what happened to the funds. The original app installation within a virtual machine crashes after a successful password authentication. No error messages in the terminal. Reinstalled the app on another machine. I see a transaction history, but all my funds have vanished. No clue if I will ever get them back. Alby Hub support told me I was too advanced of a user to support. So I am up shits creek without a paddle on this one.

I still can't grasp the boundaries of this. Was that the custodial version of Alby? Were you self hosting some kind of LN node? If so, which implementation?
