My concern is the removal of basic stuff such as likes. I don't mind additional features as long as they aren't forced down our throats.

I feel like there's a ton being worked on here. It truly is a space for everyone. Not having any sort of algorithm is actually pretty tough.
Monero will be intertwined into nostr soon, considering cake wallet is working on a wallet connection and a nostr client called Topaz.
Not sure how I stumbled on all y'alls feed here, but I found it, and this is exactly why I like nostr.
Were you aware there are a few xmr relays as well???
