The entire global Web3 community has converged on Hong Kong this week for some bullshit shitcoin conference.
I'm going to go for a few hours and do my part to explain to people why there's no long term value proposition in using a "smart" contract platform when it doesn't allow you to do things that the State and the Fed don't want you to do. Just use a Turing complete CBDC instead, it's even more secure.
Actually I should get a CBDC t-shirt.
It's an uncommon opinion, but it's true. As the leading Chinese CBDC official Mu Changchun once said, they would never build any smart contracts on top of it. However, they have gone back on their word; they no longer make that claim.

Fun things to do at a web3 conference:
- explain to people how nostr and lightning make their industry obsolete
- ask people why they need a Blockchain instead of just signed data
- point out critical flaws in the architecture of a project and then offer due diligence services to all the VCs who were thinking about investing in it
