I think that’s the issue. A spinning hard drive is not reliable enough to run core. Core needs to validate every block itself. It’s much more efficient and reliable with an SSD. The first validation of the blockchain takes less than 24-48 hours with an SSD. I’ve heard it could take weeks with an HDD. And still have issues afterwards

Odd. It ran well when I installed core under Linux.
But there I had issues with getting lightning up and running.
I have no issues with LND. Then again, with an HDD whenever there’s new blocks that core synced and LND will want to sync, I’m guessing the HDD is rushing to try and keep up. And this happens roughly every 10 minutes
When you click on LND, is it synced to graph and just timing out, or it’s trying to keep up? And same with core ? Just timed out or trying to sync ?
