Is nobody going to mention the technology they supposely used to discover this?

They are saying they used a brand new never before used radar technology that let's them produce highly accurate 3D models of structure kilometers deep underground.

Doesn't that seem a little too magical and farfetched to be real?

I'm not saying this is fake, but nobody seems to be talking about the fact that taking kilometer-sized "x-rays" of the planet is something very new, if it's real.
