For sure. But I mean, the ritual of humiliation via friction is intended to wear you/us down. An example I just saw was a screenshot of twitterx suspending someone's account but they can remove the offending post. That friction isn't necessary to achieve their goals. It only degrades the person. I wonder how much of life is these ritualistic incremental suicides...
