I still find it to be quite friendly. Sounds like you may need to clean out your feed with some unfollow/block action my brother.

Youre right. I followed too many in the beginning now I need filter them a bit. Wish I could sort my follows by most interacted with. That would be helpful.
I wasn't following very many users in the beginning, and then I made the mistake of just following back the 1000ish npubs that were following me. A few months ago I cleaned out my follow list and since then I've been more selective about who I follow. Occasionally I unfollow somebody who starts posting garbage. The upside of having a high signal quality follow list besides a better feed is that you can suggest your follow list to new users to get them started.
