The way I introduce Nostr is to say look, people don’t want to store their pictures, docs and such in the cloud anymore, many people move to self hosting solution like Synology or Umbrel.

Nostr is a protocol that lets you take your digital identity to your own server, which before was impossible, your digital identity had to be left to big tech companies.

Once you move your digital identity to your own server you are empowered to monetize it on your own term.

It’s a big deal and that’s the incentive basically
