Only hunting opportunities I'm aware of here in PA at the moment are:
Groundhog
Turkey (dawn till noon)
Coyote
Crows
The only one I'd eat is Turkey. The problem is the deer ticks are the size of a poppy seed, are everywhere, and I'm not interested in Lyme Disease. The woods are crawling right now!
The seasons kick-off around Labor Day with Dove, Early Archery Deer(few counties) Then Mid-October starts the small game: Squirrel, Rabbit, Grouse, Pheasant; Muzzleloader Doe, Archery Deer(statewide) November brings on Bear and Fall Turkey and then Sunday after Thanksgiving the Orange Army of PA (Rifle Deer Hunters) take the fields until end of the 2nd week of December.
When I go out hunting in October I'll post it up, till then I'll fish and garden. maybe camp a time or two....
