I wonder at what distance those barrels are regulated to....or if they even are regulated.

Looking Great! I see you are keeping up with the pruning. It's amazing what a difference proper pruning makes.

Why are the reactions and zap icons always greyed out on my notes in coracle?

ALWAYS Pinch-Off the suckers! (If you missed one thats become several trusses you can root them in moist soil for more plants)

You want to prune to a central stem and then support that stem with clips clipped to a vertical nylon twine. You want to clip just under a leaf truss or flower truss.

You also should prune out the lower leaves as the plant grows AND any leaves that obscure the Tomatoes and prevent sun from kissing them. You want airflow around the plants especially indoors.

Once your plants have set fruit you'll want to increase your dose of Potassium and lower your Nitrogen input a bit for better fruit production vs. vegetative growth.

Finally got the time to cut the German Hardneck scapes...now, what to do with them?

I used to marinate it too but then tried koshering salt and fresh course ground tellicherry black pepper. Coated and put in fridge in the morning, pull out and hour or so before you want to grill.

Much easier and the flavor is simple but amazing. I use a steak seasoning from the Asian market on the portobellos. It has fennel and some other interesting stuff, I don't know but it's good, along with a good drenching of olive oil. Grill till tender.

Only hunting opportunities I'm aware of here in PA at the moment are:

Groundhog

Turkey (dawn till noon)

Coyote

Crows

The only one I'd eat is Turkey. The problem is the deer ticks are the size of a poppy seed, are everywhere, and I'm not interested in Lyme Disease. The woods are crawling right now!

The seasons kick-off around Labor Day with Dove, Early Archery Deer(few counties) Then Mid-October starts the small game: Squirrel, Rabbit, Grouse, Pheasant; Muzzleloader Doe, Archery Deer(statewide) November brings on Bear and Fall Turkey and then Sunday after Thanksgiving the Orange Army of PA (Rifle Deer Hunters) take the fields until end of the 2nd week of December.

When I go out hunting in October I'll post it up, till then I'll fish and garden. maybe camp a time or two....
