Nostr Web Client

The Bluesky ideal world is my biggest fear of what could happen to Nostr, and why I am wary of the centralized caching servers and aggregators.

I get the worries but nostr clients on mobile eat alooot of data. Maybe I can setup my relays better idk, but it's been a problem for me.

Do relays filter based on contacts or do they typically send everything and let clients filter?

Relays are dumb and give everything the client asks. It's the client that should manage that if they can.
