Literally everyone has a boomer family member with 5 different Facebook accounts because they lose the password to the previous one and can’t figure out “password reset” and you know which one to follow because they told you. Gtfo with all this bullshit about lack of key rotation keeping nostr from throwing.

I know right? I moved to a new npub and it went fine. Sure I lost a bunch of "followers" but that metric is meaningless on nostr.

💯 And I’m convinced this is what it boils down to for people who are so concerned about it. They feel that follower count gives them clout because that’s what other social media reinforces.

For sure. On platforms your follower count is everything. Like, there are certain things you can't do without a high enough number. People count on that number to make a living. It's retarded.
