The fact that anyone can post anyway they want on Nostr is great, but it does make us more potentially Vulnerable too. Imagine a company or government organization wanted us gone, they could create post bots automatically generating posts and different npubs making it impossible to stop and could crash relays and stuff.

Spam problem still not solved

Paid relays mitigate this threat. However, that increases friction for new users. It's a real problem that needs to be addressed.

In that part of moderating spam, Bluesky has the solution in my opinion, subscribing to moderation lists

It should cost 1000 Sats to create an account

Where would the sats go?
