I remember as a latchkey kid the only mac&cheese i would eat was in a box. Someone would make it homemade and I wouldn't have it. Such a shame!
I grew up on the boxed stuff, I think I was close to my 20s ₿efore i tried the real stuff. Still blows my mind how much it has changed cooking habits in N America
I had box mac’n cheese my whole childhood as well. My wife is the one that has shown me the way. Apparently it’s not supposed to be liquidy.
