Works great for now. I was mostly worried about UI and picture quality and both are good. I decided to stay with standard OS for now. I need the phone both for work and life and I'm too busy right now to start playing around with graphene.
Yeah same, I got the 9a on the standard, I tried Graphene on my last pixel and didn't work for me either.

Me too, i have different profiles for open source apps, apps that need Google services, crypto wallets, work, etc. Its a lot of fun. The only thing that differentiate it from default OS is that you cannot use google play. For the rest is almost the same. LMK if you have trouble.
You can run google play in the default sandbox mode. So google play can run without being able to interact with every app like it normally does.
Graphene doesn't mean playing around.
Not installing it which takes not longer than a couple of minutes means Google is playing around with your data.
Choose wisely.
It's not a bad idea to run your compromised phone & have a seperate device that you can use privately.
That's how I eventually weaned myself from apple devices.
