I am opposite brother, I've used Bisq, but not Robosats. Yet, that is.

What's your opinion on Bisq? It run smoothly?

Haven’t used it heard it’s good tho

Same

I had no problems, and easy to use. Sometimes, if you buy or sell, and you take someone's offer. It may take them a few hours to complete. But never had any problems.

I use both. Both have pros and cons. One big advantage of bisq is the possibility of edit offers „on the fly“ to adapt to the changing market. Another one is a larger number and turnover of offers.

But there’s also negative things: on-chain trading is damn slow. This scares off newbies. Also the fact that you need to maintain a certain btc balance for paying bonds. And of course: you can only trade if your bisq client is online.

I don't the speed of the on-chain trading, tbh. Pros seem to outweigh the cons, imo. Thanks.

Don't mind the speed, is what I meant to say.

A rule of thumb: if you want to buy small to intermediate amounts of btc fast, use robosats. If you want to purchase a large stack, bisq is a better choice (make sure to unlock purchase limits first by building up reputation).

I usually set up multiple buys at once on Robosats. Good to know about purchase limits on Bisq. Thanks again.

crazy prices and only very small amounts

use kraken, get the market price, buy any quantity you need and want,

if you live in a criminal, dystopian and totalitarian place

you can go to tradeogre or cake wallet to remove tracking and tracing
