Shit happens at the slopes when people are having fun. Yesterday I watched two people collide fast and hard. Both broke a leg for sure, in a bad way.
I called ski patrol and medevac for an airlift for two people. The patroller is a friend of mine sent this to me. He said, “They’ll live but it’s going to hurt for a long time.”

That’s too bad. I hope they recover soon
this hits close to home. I put myself into a boulder deep in the backcountry 4 weeks ago and broke many bones. airlift couldn’t fly due to weather lower down the mountain. it took multiple hours into the night before we got to help. I’m grateful to be here and to the friends that made it possible.
