Musicians and artists who live off their art rely on high traffic and fans. They won't find these on NOSTR. Their followers don't get the decentralized ethos, the love staying in herds. I brought some artists here and none of them stayed for too long.

If you expect big money influencers to get to NOSTR then you will be disappointed. Most are just merchants really. Nostr is a very specific corner of the web. I love it but I don't expect any traffic here to be honest.

Oh 100% - I feel they roam in packs too. It's good to hear your take and efforts. I don't expect any money to make its way here. and thats probably a good thing. It's more the spiritual journey which I want artists to join us on, fuck the economical implications.. i want these people to find happiness and to be able to say "fuck you" to the man

Totally with you and this is why I'm here. I went through posting into the void just to understand the Nostr ethos but not everyone is prepared to do so.

After some time I started thinking of Nostr as my personal notebook, canvas and soul searching journal. I am grateful we have Nostr and I feel like the social media tied with social score system will eventually push people this way. Till then we build.

Fucking aye. We build till our hands are drenched in blood. Or something
